North Shore’s Newest Elite Training Facility
Opened in Fall 2023, GVN North Shore is a 4,000 sq. ft. performance space built for serious development. This facility brings together hockey players of all levels — from youth to pro — with former athletes and high-performing adults looking to stay strong, mobile, and competitive.
The culture here is driven by energy, accountability, and camaraderie. It’s where top local athletes train alongside weekend warriors, unified by a common mindset: train hard, stay sharp, and get better every day.
GVN North Shore is the official training partner of New Trier, Glenbrook North, Wilmette, and Winnetka Hockey Clubs, and has helped prepare NHL athletes like Jack Drury, Jack Devine, and recent draft picks Ryker Lee, Cole McKinney, and Asher Barnett.

A Maine native and father of two, Jackson brings over a decade of experience in sports performance, having trained thousands of athletes from youth to pro. He’s a relationship-driven coach known for his holistic approach and leadership both on and off the floor.
Jack Tenney
Assistant Strength Coach
A Chicago native and WMU alum, Jack brings a calm intensity to GVN North Shore, combining formal education with firsthand athletic experience. He’s passionate about helping athletes push past perceived limits through precise coaching and a supportive environment.
