GVN Performance – Elk Grove is our fifth location and the newest addition to the GVN family. Built inside the brand-new Elk Grove Ice Arena at Meacham and Biesterfield Roads, the facility brings the same coaching, systems, and standard that have developed NHL players, national team athletes, and thousands of youth hockey players across Illinois and Michigan to the Northwest suburbs.

We opened our doors as the official off-ice training partner for the Chicago Mission, one of the top AAA programs in the country. Mission athletes now step off the ice and directly into a purpose-built performance space, with programming that lines up with their practice and game schedule. That kind of integration between on-ice and off-ice development is what GVN was built for.

Elk Grove isn’t only for AAA players. As the facility grows, we’re building out an Adult Training Program through the Eternal Athlete model and an In-Season Athlete Program for high school, club, and multi-sport athletes across Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Itasca, Roselle, Arlington Heights, and the surrounding communities.

A Maine native and father of two, Jackson brings over a decade of experience in sports performance, having trained thousands of athletes from youth to pro. He’s a relationship-driven coach known for his holistic approach and leadership both on and off the floor.

Chris Estey

Ba. Ex. Sci., EXOS L1, CPT

Chicago-based performance coach with 4+ years of experience training athletes across all levels. Specializes in individualized programs that enhance performance, prevent injury, and support long-term development. Based at GVN Performance’s Chicago location.

Sage Roon

Sage brings six years of business and operations experience, overseeing daily logistics, scheduling, and facility management. She plays a key role in delivering a seamless client experience while maintaining a professional, welcoming environment that supports long-term athlete development and retention.
